We held our first planning meeting for the 2019 Southwest Texas Area 68 Summer Workshop last Saturday, Dec. 15^th at the Elgin A.A. Group, and we are happy to report that we are getting in gear quickly.

There is plenty to be done and lots of opportunities to be of service so expect a tap on the shoulder from one of these folks soon.

Our next meeting is scheduled for January 6, 2019 after the Sunday Morning Meeting (MINA Lodge, 601 Main St, Bastrop) at Noon. I’m inviting our Area Chair, Cathy H. to talk a little about separation of duties between District 29 and Area 68 for the Workshop.

I’ve attached our flier for the workshop which we should soon see posted to our Area and District Websites. In the meanwhile, it would be helpful if you can print one for your group and begin soliciting interest in service opportunities and encouraging attendance.

This is such an honor and privilege for our District to host the workshop and I’m looking forward to all your brilliant ideas. Hoping for the most serene and happy Christmas and New Year for each of you.
